Experience! That is the word that describes Vinyl Thunder best. We have over 100 years of playing and gigging experience between us. If you look through the last 25 years of the Madison music scene’s history, you will find one or all of the Vinyl Thunder band members in a popular group. In the early 80s you could find Gonzo and Norm playing in Predator, and Richie playing in Warlock. In the late 80s and early 90s youcould find Jeffery playing in Rattlebones, or Norm and Richie playing with D.S. Jukin. Through the mid 90s you could find Gonzo rocking at his namesake music club in Metal Gonz. After 2000, Jefffery. Richie, Norm & Gonzo were involved in many other music projects. All of us have been under the bright hot stage lights at one time or another.

Now all of this experience has been gathered to form the band Vinyl Thunder. Vinyl Thunder plays homage to theRattlebones classic rock of the 70s and 80s, playing hits from bands like Aerosmith, ZZ Top, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Ted Nugent, and many others.

If your club has a sound and light system, we will bring experienced technicians to run your system. If your club doesn't have a sound system, we will bring a state-of-the-art P.A. and light show. Vinyl Thunder will present a professional and styPreditorlistic show at your venue.

When it comes to filling your club with people, we have the technology and experience to get it done. We are all shameless self-promoters. We prepare our own posters and hand bills. We have a growing mailing list. Add in an on-line schedule that has links to mapquest directions to assure everyone knows how to get to your location

To sum it all up we bring the musical experience, the equipment, technology, and the networking skills to make our relationship a success. We will present unique and entertaining show that Classic Rock lovers wont soon forget.
